Cooking ideas

I'm good at piling drafts but not so good at getting them out the door. I review essays that are half-done every once in a while to finish them.

I know from experience that having multiple ideas cooking at the same time yields good results—your projects feed on what you do in and outside work—but it also adds stress to your plate as your creative debt grows.

A great strategy is to separate the work of refining and finishing existing ideas from idea-generating sessions. This way, we make sure to continue paying our debt.
