Schedule Cron Jobs with crontab on macOS

Set editor to nano (or your editor of choice).

export EDITOR=nano

crontab -e

Edit the file, for instance, create a folder with a timestamp every minute in your desktop folder.

* * * * * cd ~/Desktop && mkdir `date +\%y\%m\%d_\%H\%M\%S`
