I walked with my sketchbook toward the Harvard Graduate School of Design from Inman Square, basically, from my house, with Saurabh Mhatre. At the time, he was working as a researcher at the MaP+S lab at Harvard GSD, in collaboration with the Wyss Institute. He lived with Jose Luis Garcia del Castillo y Lopez, really, really close by my house in Clary Street. We walked, wandering around, trying to decide what to sketch, until we got close to 42 Kirkland. I ended up, as suggested by Saurabh, House Zero, a new house, just built, which had been architected by Snøhetta a norwegian international architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and brand design office based in Oslo, Norway and New York City, with studios spread around the world.
