  • Check email once or twice a day—never first thing in the morning
  • Don't reply to messages too fast and schedule responses for the next business day or week
  • Capture all to-do items in one place
  • Use the afternoons and weekends for what they are: for disconnecting
  • Try to tackle two or three main items per day
  • Get tasks that are stressing you out done first
  • You can do anything, not everything
